With over 40 years of experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and international business, Anand has built a distinguished career that spans both corporate leadership and independent consultancy. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in Amsterdam, where he worked as a controller and supervisor from 1980 to 1992 and later returned from 1999 to 2003. During this time, he developed deep expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Between 1992 and 1999, he served as a controller at Prudential-Bache Securities, further strengthening his knowledge of global financial operations.

In 2003, Anand transitioned into entrepreneurship, founding D World Advisory B.V., where he continues to serve as director. His firm specializes in international business expansion, helping publicly listed companies enter and scale in new and existing global markets. Through strategic advisory and strong global partnerships, he has played a key role in facilitating cross-border investments and fostering business growth.

Anand is widely recognized for his integrity and his extensive network of C-level executives worldwide. In 2010, the International Business & Leadership Forum (IBLF) appointed him as the Caribbean Ambassador, acknowledging his influence in global business circles and his commitment to connecting leaders across industries.
